The NFL season is right around the corner with the first game on Thursday, September 7.
That game will feature the reigning champion Kansas City Chiefs taking on the Detroit Lions.
But, before we get to that game there are still some disgruntled players that are waiting for clarity.
One player who is seeking a trade is Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor.
He is unhappy with the Colts and is hoping to be playing for a new team by the time Week 1 comes around.
Yet, the Colts have made it clear they are not going to give Taylor away.
They are hoping to get back a first-round draft pick or something close to that in value.
According to Ian Rapoport, there is serious interest in Taylor and he thinks it is “likely” he gets traded.

There seem to be many teams interested in Taylor’s services.
Any competing team in need of a running back should make a play for Taylor.
He is still in the prime of his career at only 24 years old.
Plus, he has already proven he can play at an elite level after making first-team All-Pro in his second season.
One team that seems to be very interested is the Miami Dolphins.
Miami has shown they are going all-in this year and still need an established running back.
Any team that acquires Taylor will have to be willing to sign him to a contract extension.
Hopefully, Taylor will not have to enter the season holding out from the Colts.
He wants to play for a new team and a deal should get done sooner than later.
