The Philadelphia 76ers are reportedly still trying to trade James Harden.

Harden, who has made his discontent with the team well-known and more than obvious, didn’t partake in the team’s practices leading up to the season opener.

He was reportedly attending to a personal matter, more specifically, taking care of his ill mother.

Now, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports that Harden is actually back at the Sixers’ facility and is set to practice with the rest of his teammates prior to their flight to Milwaukee to face the Milwaukee Bucks.

Notably, Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report and NBA on TNT adds that Harden is going to fly with the team, but he’s not going to play.

Nick Nurse and the Sixers have repeatedly addressed Harden’s potential availability issue.

They’ve welcomed him with open arms and would love to get him on the court for the remainder of the season, but they’re ready to move on without him if it comes down to that.

Harden is reportedly still adamant to be traded to the Los Angeles Clippers.

Daryl Morey has set a steep asking price for him, one that no team is even close to being willing to meet.

But with the season getting started already, it could be just a matter of time before he comes to his senses and meets someone in the middle.
