One of the most intriguing quarterback situations in the NFL right now is taking place with the Denver Broncos.
While rookie Bo Nix is reportedly having a positive preseason, another quarterback having a good preseason is former No. 2 overall pick Zach Wilson.
According to insider Troy Renck, Wilson is making a strong case to be on the team.
“Zach Wilson has really hit his stride the last 7-10 days,” the Denver Post columnist wrote on social media.

Wilson, who was traded by the New York Jets this offseason, said he feels rejuvenated in Denver.
“I’m excited to just keep trying to do my best, and I’m enjoying being here. … [Head coach] Sean (Payton) does a great job with this offense,” Wilson told Denver media recently.
Wilson is the most experienced quarterback on Denver’s roster in terms of career NFL starts (33).
The 25-year-old has 23 touchdown passes, almost 6,300 passing yards and a career completion percentage of 57.0 percent in three seasons.
Veteran backup Jarrett Stidham has been in the league since 2019 and is also trying to make the team.
However, it seems as if the race to be the starter is between Nix and Wilson.
As the Broncos gear up to face the Green Bay Packers in their second preseason game, look for both players to get a significant amount of playing time.
If Wilson can close the gap between him and Nix and perform at a high level for the rest of the preseason, he could be in the running to start Week 1 at the Seattle Seahawks.
