The Chicago Bulls seem to be one team ready to give up on the season.

They have started the year 4-7 and have trade talks surrounding some of their best players.

It appears like the Bulls are ready to start a rebuild.

One player who has been vocal about this frustration is Zach LaVine.

The former All-Star has been frustrated with his team long before this season.

According to K.C. Johnson, via NBACentral, LaVine has “never, never gotten over” Billy Donovan benching him last season.

LaVine wants to be treated like a star player, and being benched in the crunch time of a game did not appeal to his ego.

But sometimes a coach needs to bench a player to send them a message about how they are playing.

It seems all but certain that the Bulls will trade LaVine sooner rather than later.

We have seen numerous times that player mobility is prominent in the NBA.

Players can force their way out of bad situations.

Even if he does not force his way out, the Bulls seem prepared to move on.

He should allow them to get a package of picks and young players in return.

It seems best for the best to have a fresh start.

There are too many problems surrounding their team that have nothing to do with playing basketball.

Seeing what they do over the next few months will be interesting.

It has become abundantly clear changes need to be made.
