The Golden State Warriors cannot be happy with Draymond Green right now.

But at least they’re going to save a couple of bucks.

Green got himself ejected for the third time this season, leading to an indefinite suspension without pay by the league.

According to NBA insider Marc Stein, that’s going to cost the controversial forward $154,000 for every single game he misses.

Although it is not specified in the league’s announcement, it has been confirmed that Draymond Green was indeed suspended indefinitely without pay, which will cost him nearly $154,000 for every game missed.

The league reportedly didn’t want to put a number on Green’s suspension and instead urged him to seek counsel.

Green will reportedly work with the team and will have to meet certain criteria before being eligible for reinstatement.

As of now, he’s lost over $2 million in fines and suspensions, but that number is expected to go up after this.

Green signed a four-year, $100 million contract with the Warriors in the offseason, and he’s made over $177 million during his playing days alone.

Even so, it’s about time the team starts holding him truly accountable for his actions.

He’s hurt the team over and over with his antics this season.

Green is one of the most crucial players on the team, and ironically, he’s just too intelligent to keep putting himself in this position.

The fans, the organization, and his teammates simply cannot keep condoning this.
