Insider Reveals How 1 NFL Team Has Drastically Changed In One Season

Two years ago, no one would’ve said the words ‘Houston Texans’ and ‘playoffs’ in the same sentence.

Now, some people are talking about them as a sneaky Super Bowl candidate.

That’s why, in his latest appearance on ESPN, NFL insider Field Yates tipped his hat to Nick Caserio (Via Houston Stressans).

He talked about the major and rapid turnaround this team went through.

Yates claimed that while there was clearly some promise there because they had C.J. Stroud, no one thought he would go on to have arguably the greatest rookie season for a quarterback in NFL history.

He also stated that even though there’s only one football, it’s a nice problem to have to choose between throwing the ball to Stefon Diggs, Nico Collins, or Tank Dell, not to mention their revamped running game with Joe Mixon also in the mix.

It didn’t take long before DeMeco Ryans proved to be the right guy for the job.

Coaching aside, he’s built a strong culture within the organization, and it’s more than clear that decision-makers fully trust him to lead this project going forward.

It’s never common to see a team go from winning the second-fewest games in the league to actually winning a playoff game in a matter of a season.

Of course, it’s not common to find a potential generational player, not even with the No. 2 selection.

Still, props to the Texans for the way they’ve managed to maximize their assets and get back to contention in no time.
