The Philadelphia 76ers are playing a dangerous game with James Harden.
The former MVP has let it be known that he doesn’t want to be a part of their team anymore, stating that he doesn’t trust Daryl Morey, calling him a liar, and vowing never to play for any team that hires him in any capacity.
Morey might think his former friend is bluffing, as it doesn’t seem like he’s taken his trade request as seriously as he should’ve.
Now, Shams Charania and Jake Fischer report that Harden is a no-show at Sixers practice.

The former Brooklyn Nets star is reportedly in Houston as he waits to be traded, and he hasn’t been with the team since Sunday.
Harden had shown up to the team’s training camp in Colorado, and reports stated that he was quite helpful to his young teammates and put in a lot of hard work.
He was also reportedly in great shape, but he hasn’t changed his mind about leaving the City of Brotherly Love.
Morey is reportedly asking a lot in return for his wantaway player, whose trade value is only getting lower by the day.
No one values Harden as highly as Morey does, and he’s going to lose the little leverage he still has if he allows this situation to spiral into the season.
The Sixers need to deal with the fact that it’s over and just take what they can get from Harden before this tricky situation gets even uglier.
