San Francisco 49ers and Brandon Aiyuk must find a solution to their situation.
The Niners are reportedly more than willing to keep him around if they don’t find the kind of trade value they’re currently looking for.
However, other reports state that they don’t want to drag this situation much further, particularly because Aiyuk is willing to make things very uncomfortable for them.
With that in mind, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns are looking to make a run at him.
Nonetheless, Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports claims that the Steelers are leading the race to get him (via Baku).

Per Jones, Aiyuk has more leverage than the Niners want to admit.
Whoever trades for him will have to sign him to a very lucrative contract extension, and the Steelers are in a position to do so.
There’s mutual interest in getting a deal done, and he believes it’s just a matter of time before that happens.
Needless to say, that would be a slam dunk for a Steelers team that’s desperately craving another star wide receiver opposite George Pickens.
Aiyuk is coming off an All-Pro season and wants to get paid as such.
And while this situation could’ve been avoided or solved months ago, it seems like there’s finally some traction to get him away from the Bay area.
