The Philadelphia 76ers dealt with a disgruntled James Harden throughout the offseason.

Harden requested a trade to the Los Angeles Clippers earlier in the offseason and pulled every trick up his sleeve to force his move to his desired location.

The 10x NBA All-Star finally succeeded in getting his request fulfilled as the 76ers traded him to the Clippers.

With the trade finalized, fans are excitedly waiting for Harden’s debut with the Clippers.

Many predicted that Harden will be available to play in tonight’s important game against the Los Angeles Lakers, but NBA insider Shams Charania reported the opposite, via Run It Back on Twitter.

“The plan is for him to get practice over the next few days,” Charania reported.

Getting traded to a new team is not easy for any player in the NBA.

Even though Harden wanted to play for the Clippers, building synergy with his teammates will take some time.

Keeping that in mind, it’s no surprise that the Clippers plan to wait until a few more days before letting Harden officially make his debut for the team.

Sure, it would have been great to see the Big 4 of the Clippers in action against their bitter rivals, but fans must stay patient.

After tonight’s matchup against the Lakers, the Clippers will play their next game on November 6 against the New York Knicks.

Considering there is almost a week’s gap between the two games, Harden should make his debut for the team against the Knicks.
