The Portland Trail Blazers managed to swing two huge deals this past week as they dealt away both Damian Lillard and Jrue Holiday for a haul of players and picks.

The Trail Blazers traded Lillard to the Milwaukee Bucks and later turned around and sent Holiday to the Boston Celtics.

Portland is clearly in the midst of a rebuild and did well for themselves all things considered as they were put in a difficult position once Lillard asked out.

The Blazers rebuilt their frontcourt rotation by landing Deandre Ayton and Robert Williams III; the draft picks should be valuable trade assets or young players down the line.

Portland also received Malcolm Brogdon back in the Holiday trade, but the veteran doesn’t have a clear place on the roster considering their young guard trio of Anfernee Simons, Shaedon Sharpe, and Scoot Henderson.

With that in mind, it appears that the Blazers might not be done dealing as Brogdon could be on the move via Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

That’s the current tally on Lillard trade, anyway: Portland plans to keep Robert Williams to pair with Deandre Ayton, sources say, but there has certainly been interest in veteran Malcolm Brogdon and expect teams will be calling on him. Boston tried to move Brogdon earlier in the offseason but his trade to the L.A. Clippers fell apart after they didn’t like what they saw when reviewing his medicals.

Despite that, the combo guard still has value around the league as an extra playmaker who can also put pressure on the rim.

The most likely scenario is that Brogdon gets dealt at the trade deadline when teams have a better idea of their postseason standing and he’ll surely net the Blazers a solid asset or two.
