Ever since he was born, NBA fans and analysts have talked about Bronny James and whether he was going to play in the league.

The young guard decided to follow his father’s steps and pursue a career in basketball as well, and he’s been heavily scrutinized throughout the entire way.

Now, his dream is finally coming close.

He was medically cleared to play in the NBA, and he’s now firmly expected to stay in the NBA Draft.

With that in mind, NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski believes he could even sneak his way into the first round.

Talking on ESPN, Woj explained that Bronny was most likely going to start his career in the G-League, which meant that he could have a huge financial impact on any team’s G-League affiliate.

Teams are intrigued by Bronny James because of the financial impact he will have on their G League level at the beginning of his career, per @wojespn:

“He will pack G League arenas, merchandising. All of those make him an attractive player.”

He believes he’s going to have people packing the G-League arenas, which is another factor to consider for whoever takes him, whether it’s late in the first round or early in the second.

Most scouts agree that Bronny is still quite raw and might not be a first-round player right now, even though his basketball IQ and defense have reportedly turned a lot of heads.

At this point, he’s almost a lock to turn pro and make his debut next season, instead of going back to college.

Also, with the prospect of potentially getting LeBron James on the team as well, it’ll be interesting to see how things shape up as we approach the NBA Draft and which team is going to take a flier on the firstborn of the James household.
