Coming into the 2023-24 NBA regular season, the Golden State Warriors were thought to have addressed their issues during the offseason and potentially improved their roster by getting rid of Jordan Poole and adding future Hall of Famer Chris Paul.

Unfortunately for Golden State, the team has failed to live up to expectations during the first half of the season and could very well be looking to make another blockbuster trade in an attempt to right the ship in San Francisco before it is too late to salvage the season.

Although there have been quite a few names on the Warriors roster that have been linked to a potential move before the NBA trade deadline on February 8, Andrew Wiggins might be the most desirable asset the team has right now outside of superstar Stephen Curry.

Wiggins is having an awful season this year as he’s never really seemed to recover since needing some time away from the team last season before the NBA playoffs.

That said, the Warriors could look to move him before the deadline next month, with the Indiana Pacers potentially being a team that could show interest, according to Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports via NBA Central.

“I keep hearing Andrew Wiggins’ name [attached to Indiana],” Fischer said.

For Wiggins, a chance of scenery might do the trick, and the Pacers might be willing to gamble on that being the case, with the team looking to bring in more talent to surround rising star Tyrese Haliburton.

Another team that might be willing to wheel and deal with the Warriors is the Toronto Raptors, who might be ready to part ways with Pascal Siakam and Wiggins would be an ideal player in return as he’s Canadian and could have a similar resurgence like R.J. Barrett.
