As happens every year, there will be multiple QB-needy teams in the National Football League.
This time, however, some of the most sought-after quarterbacks may not be sought-after to be starters.
Notably, that could be the case with veteran backup Jacoby Brissett.
According to a report by Ben Volin of The Boston Globe, Brissett could have a stronger market than Russell Wilson or Justin Fields.
NFL Notes:
*Brissett may have stronger market than Wilson or Fields
*Jamal Adams trade was brutal
*Jahlani Tavai’s unique season
*Pats fire warning shot with Transition Tag
*Cowboys are almost literally a zoo

Apparently, teams value Brissett’s locker room presence and mentorship, and they know he’s also more than capable of taking the field and getting some wins if need be.
The Cleveland Browns regretted letting him go and tried to trade back for him last season, but the Washington Commanders were unwilling to part ways with him.
As for Justin Fields, he was rumored to be a target for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Atlanta Falcons, but that no longer seems to be the case, and it’ll be very interesting to see which team makes a run at the Ohio State product.
Wilson, on the other hand, had a meeting with the Steelers and was reportedly quite enthused about the prospect of playing for the Black and Gold, especially considering he could have a legitimate chance to start over struggling incumbent QB Kenny Pickett.
As happens every year, the QB musical chairs game will kick off as soon as the first domino falls and the first quarterback finds himself a new home.
Surprisingly, that first QB might be a backup this time.
