The Los Angeles Lakers trying hard to make a trade at the deadline.

Things have been that way for most of the LeBron James era, and this year won’t be the exception to that rule.

The Lakers have been tied to nearly a dozen different players, with fans going crazy on social media with the trade rumors.

Nonetheless, Shams Charania of The Athletic recently named 2 trade targets that are at the top of the list for the Lakers.

Talking on Run It Back, Charania claimed that guard Bruce Brown Jr. and Atlanta Hawks PG Dejounte Murray are at the ‘forefront’ of their target list.

“The Lakers, I’m told, are continuing to monitor two players. I think the two guys at the forefront of their targets list going into the trade deadline, Dejounte Murray of Atlanta, and Bruce Brown Jr. of Toronto.”@ShamsCharania on the Los Angeles Lakers

He said the Lakers continue to be reluctant to trade Austin Reaves, adding that they could probably wait until the NBA Draft to make a move, as they would have three picks to trade.

The fact of the matter is that teams are unlikely to do them any favors.

They need to make a good offer if they want to land a good player; it’s as simple as that.

Russell’s trade value might go up if he continues to play this way, but they will have trouble landing an All-Star-caliber player in return for their current role players.
