The New York Knicks just added a new player on Tuesday night when they acquired Mikal Bridges from the Brooklyn Nets.
But they might also be losing some talent soon too.
All eyes are on OG Anunoby as fans are waiting to see his next move.
According to Brian Windhorst, per NBACentral, the Philadelphia 76ers might try to acquire Anunoby if the Knicks don’t retain him.
Windhorst reported:
“If OG Anunoby gets to unrestricted free agency on Sunday without a deal for the Knicks, I don’t see a reason why the Sixers don’t come in hard after him with something close to that max offer.”

So, not only would the Sixers try to get Anunoby, but they would try to get him with a max contract.
It would be hard for him to say no to that sort of deal.
Anunoby has only been with the Knicks since the middle of last season but he has done a lot for the team during that time, averaging 14.1 points and 4.4 rebounds.
Sadly, he wasn’t able to be a huge part of the playoffs because of an injury but fans were hoping he was building a long-term relationship with the Knicks.
And that may be true because the Knicks could put together a really tantalizing offer for Anunoby within the next few days.
But if they can’t, he will be hearing packages from other teams, including the Sixers.
If the Knicks lose Anuonby, he will leave behind a big void that will be hard to fill.
That is why the team is probably working hard to put together something to keep Anunoby in New York.
