Several months ago, basketball fans were excited to hear that Netflix was producing a documentary series similar to the NFL “Quarterback” show.
The docuseries will follow multiple NBA stars and show behind-the-scenes moments in their lives and careers.
Now we know who the biggest star of the show will be.
According to Shams Charania, per Legion Hoops, Anthony Edwards of the Minnesota Timberwolves is going to be a “major star” of the new NBA show.
“Edwards is expected to be the breakaway act of Netflix’s first NBA documentary series that includes LeBron James, Jayson Tatum, Jimmy Butler and Domantas Sabonis. The show is modeled after Netflix’s NFL “Quarterback” series,” Charania wrote.

Edwards’ starring role in this show comes at a perfect time.
He just had his most successful season yet, leading his Timberwolves to the Western Conference Finals.
And now he is suiting up to play alongside James, Tatum, Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, and others on Team USA for the Paris Olympics.
Edwards’ star is rising and his career is in a really good place right now, and it may only get better in the months ahead.
It’ll be interesting to see every aspect of his life and how success has changed it.
It’s not clear if the docuseries is still being filmed right now.
If it is, it will capture Edwards’ time with Team USA at the Olympics and could possibly film him winning a gold medal for the first time.
NBA fans were already excited for this Netflix show but now they are even more eager to see it because Edwards will be the main star.
