The Cleveland Cavaliers are fresh off elimination from the NBA playoffs.
While they beat the Boston Celtics in Game 2 of their second-round playoff series and showed some life, the rest of the series didn’t go as well.
This loss now causes the Cavaliers to go back to the drawing board, hoping they can come up with a new plan for the 2024-2025 season.
One aspect that gets examined for any team after a playoff series loss is their head coach.
Organizations tend to investigate all aspects of a team’s makeup and head coaches are often blamed for many issues.
This appears to be the case for the Cavaliers, as Adrian Wojnarowski recently reported that the “Cavaliers plan to take time to evaluate coach JB Bickerstaff’s future.”

He also highlighted the fact that Bickerstaff is well-liked within the organization, but it remains to be seen if that will be enough for him to keep his job.
Several candidates are on the prowl who are likely itching to coach a team with as much potential as the Cavaliers.
This is a relatively young team with many talented players on the roster, and many believed they would make a deeper run in this year’s playoffs.
The next few weeks should be telling as regards to what the team wants to do next.
With teams like the Celtics, Indiana Pacers, Milwaukee Bucks, and New York Knicks showing what they can do this year, the Eastern Conference isn’t getting any easier.
Can the Cavaliers put the right people in place to put themselves in a prime position to succeed in 2024 and beyond?
