The Chicago Bulls remain the most interesting team to watch out for ahead of the NBA trade deadline as they’ve got several players a contending team would be interested in.
The Bulls have looked better in recent weeks, but they’re still far away from being considered a true postseason threat.
Chicago has a massive decision to make regarding the future of Zach LaVine as the two sides have agreed that a parting of ways might be for the best.
LaVine has dealt with injuries over the course of the regular season but is still an impactful player when he’s on the court.
However, any team trading for him would need to send out several players to match his exorbitant salary.
As of now, LaVine’s trade market is non-existent but the two sides would happily welcome a trade, per Brian Windhorst via Hoops Wire, as tweeted by NBACentral.
“If they could trade Zach LaVine in the next five minutes, they would trade him and Zach would happily go to the airport,” Windhorst said.

As things stand, the only team that seems remotely interested in LaVine is the Los Angeles Lakers, though they are reluctant to part with Austin Reaves and draft capital.
LaVine is owed almost $140 million over the next three years, a huge number for any team to take on which is why his market has been so depressed.
Opposing teams would argue that the Bulls would need to attach assets to rid themselves of LaVine and his contract.
Unless something changes in the following weeks, LaVine and Chicago are stuck with each other.
