The Philadelphia Eagles have been a very good team each of the last few years because of what Pro Bowl quarterback Jalen Hurts has brought to the table.
He has guided Philly to the playoffs in each of the last three seasons with a Super Bowl appearance coming two seasons ago.
However, some out there believe that Hurts is not a top quarterback currently.
“Even though (Jalen Hurts is) very good, he’s never really going to be a top-five quarterback in the eyes of a lot of evaluators,” ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler said recently on Get Up.

Hurts is arguably the biggest reason why the Eagles have won 35 total games over the last three seasons.
However, there are so many good quarterbacks in the NFL today.
After the likes of powerhouse quarterbacks such as Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Aaron Rodgers, Joe Burrow, Lamar Jackson, etc., there are a lot of quality names that are fighting for positioning.
Hurts appears to be one of those quarterbacks fighting for positioning outside of the top five.
The former national champion at Alabama was one of the superstars of the game after going 14-1 as the starter in 2022 and guiding the Eagles to the Super Bowl.
He then led the Eagles to a 10-1 record before everything fell apart last season.
The team went 1-5 in the last six games and lost in the first round of the playoffs to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the second time in three years.
Hurts turned the ball over a total of 20 times (15 interceptions).
If he wants to be seen as an elite quarterback, he is going to need to regain some of the 2022 magic that saw him post a passer rating of 101.5.
