On Monday morning, Bronny James was cleared by NBA medical staff to participate in the league in the 2024-25 season.
Hot on the heels of that news, reports said that James has decided that he will keep his name in the draft and not elect to go back to college.
On Monday’s “Run It Back,” Shams Charania said that James will most definitely find a home for himself in the league, no matter where he is picked in the draft.
“It’s not really a question of if he is going to get drafted, it’s just about where and when,” Charania said.

The medical clearance given by the NBA was a big deal because it’s been less than a year since James suffered a frightening cardiac arrest episode, which was followed by a medical procedure.
Now, James is going to focus on moving forward and meeting with teams that will size him up and consider him for a spot on their roster.
James showed some promise during his year with USC but there is room for improvement.
He averaged 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists during his 19.4 minutes per game.
Despite his limited output, multiple teams reportedly think James could be a great fit for them.
He wasn’t able to play as much as he wanted during his freshman year because of his medical issues but he showed that he has a strong defensive mind and could improve during his rookie year in the league.
Charania said a team will draft him but will it be the Los Angeles Lakers?
For months now, people have wondered if James will play alongside his dad, and in only a matter of weeks, everyone will see if the Lakers make a move to unite this father-son duo.
