Even though Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, Aaron Gordon, and Michael Porter Jr. drew most of the attention, the Denver Nuggets knew they were going to miss Bruce Brown.
The guard has become one of the most versatile two-way players in the league, and his skill set could come in handy to multiple contenders.
That’s why it’s not much of a surprise to see a report by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN claiming that there’s a big chance Brown gets moved before Thursday’s trade deadline, adding that there has been “a lot of activity” around him (via Basketball on X).

The Toronto Raptors acquired Brown in the Pascal Siakam trade, and while they claimed they didn’t mind keeping him, reports indicated they could also look to flip him for additional draft compensation.
Brown can make an impact on both ends of the floor regardless of whether he’s starting or coming off the bench.
The New York Knicks and Los Angeles Lakers have been mentioned as potential destinations for him, with the Nuggets also reportedly considering a reunion.
Whatever the case, Masai Ujiri is a master of squeezing the most value out of every single one of his assets, and Brown won’t be the exception to that rule.
Don’t be shocked if there’s a major bidding war for the NBA champion’s services, and the Raptors could also look to offload some other salaries before the deadline, whether it’s in separate deals or in the same trade involving Brown.
