The Philadelphia 76ers have made several headlines in the 2023-24 NBA season, thanks to their phenomenal 7-1 start.
Kelly Oubre Jr. has played a crucial role in the team’s early-season success.
Unfortunately, Oubre Jr. won’t be able to contribute to the team in the near future due to his recent accident.
Oubre Jr. was hospitalized after a car accident, but was released shortly after.
However, it will still lead to Oubre Jr. missing a significant amount of time, and NBA insider Shams Charania recently shared some crucial details about the 76ers star’s injuries via his official Twitter handle.

Apart from that, he also sustained several bruises and cuts.
While Charania has mentioned that Oubre Jr. will miss a significant amount of time, there’s still no decisive date for a comeback for the 27-year-old.
Oubre Jr. was averaging 16.3 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 0.6 assists per game for the Philadelphia 76ers this season.
