It now seems likely that the Chicago Bulls will undergo some major changes shortly.
Recent reports have said that players such as Zach LaVine, Alex Caruso, and DeMar DeRozan could be shipped elsewhere in the league as the Bulls begin a rebuilding process.
But where would they go?
According to Sam Amick, via NBACentral, The Miami Heat and New York Knicks are “preferred trade destinations” for DeRozan.
“When it comes to possible destinations, the Heat and Knicks are known to be preferable to DeRozan if he winds up getting moved,” Amick reported.

Is this trade going to happen and will DeRozan be moving on from Chicago?
He is now in his third season with the Bulls and has averaged 25.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 5 assists during his time in the Windy City.
He’s still a legitimately good shooter and reliable leader and can have some impressive surges in the fourth quarter.
DeRozan could help the offensive plans for either the Heat or the Knicks.
The Heat are a particularly interesting choice, as DeRozan would fill the sort of role they wanted for Damian Lillard.
As for the Knicks, it would be fascinating to see how he fits into the lineup under the leadership of Jalen Brunson.
Would DeRozan be a starter or would he accept a role off the bench?
And who and what would the Heat or Knicks get in return for him?
These are the sort of questions worth asking as this rumored deal floats around.
There were reports that said the Bulls want to move quickly on any proposed shakeups and that they could look really different by Christmas.
Does that mean that the Heat or Knicks could be getting DeRozan very soon?
