Last season, there were many questions about the team chemistry of the Golden State Warriors.
It all started when footage of Draymond Green punching Jordan Poole leaked online shortly before the start of the season.
The team swore up and down that they had buried the hatchet and put it behind them – but did they really?
According to Logan Murdock, no, they did not.
Murdock reported that Green refused to go to dinner with Poole.
“According to Warriors officials, head coach Steve Kerr made several attempts to convince Green to take Poole to dinner, to smooth over their relationship, but Green declined,” Murdock reported, via NBACentral.

If this is true, it proves that Green and Poole weren’t able to move beyond the big confrontation that led to the punch heard around the league.
In the months since the blow-up, there has been a lot of speculation about what Poole said and why Green reacted the way he did.
Poole apparently made some demeaning comments about Green’s skills and his importance to the team.
That was all it took for Green to haul off and hit him and create one of the biggest controversies of his career.
After the punch, Green apologized, was briefly suspended, and said that he and Poole had pushed past their differences and mended their relationship.
But questions remained and many fans weren’t sure how true that was.
When the season came to an end, Poole was sent away to the Washington Wizards and Green was able to secure his contract extension.
Now that they aren’t playing for the same team, perhaps more light can be shed on the rocky relationship Green and Poole had.
