Now that the Olympics are officially over, NBA teams can resume their attention on the 2024-2025 season.
The season is slated to begin in just over two months, meaning teams are running out of time to solidify their rosters.
There has seemingly been more parity in the NBA in recent years, as more and more teams are getting competitive.
With this competitive spirit in mind, teams around the league are hoping to put the right players together to stand out in a crowded field.
The Sacramento Kings, for instance, are bringing several players in for a workout, trying to add the final pieces to their roster.
One of those players, according to Sean Cunningham via NBA Central, is Isaiah Thomas.

Thomas ironically started his NBA career with the Kings, as they drafted him in the second round in 2011.
He has since bounced around the league, playing for nine other teams.
Thomas’ most recent destination was the Phoenix Suns, suiting up for them last year.
However, he only appeared in six games for the Suns, playing 3.2 minutes per game in those performances.
With this in mind, Thomas will likely be nothing more than a depth bench piece for the Kings, assuming they ink him to a deal.
The Kings have several young players on their roster looking to take the next step, so in some ways, signing Thomas might be a great thing.
Due to his experience, he could help mentor these athletes, coming alongside the coaches as an extra mentor.
