The Memphis Grizzlies have a bright future ahead of them, and it seems like the only thing that could hold them back is their immaturity.
They’ve done a lot of trash-talking over the past couple of years, and that hasn’t rubbed rival teams the right way.
They’re getting their rivals’ best effort night in and night out, and it seems like the players kind of take it personally to beat them now.
So, given Ja Morant’s well-known issues off the court, it was natural to see some people concerned when NBA Alerts reported that Jaren Jackson Jr. was no longer following him.

That’s why both players took to Twitter right away to laugh things off when people speculated that they didn’t get along.

Perhaps they did it on purpose just for the fun of it; perhaps it was just a mistake.
Whatever the case, it’s clear that there’s no beef between the two young stars.
The Grizzlies would’ve been in a very tough spot otherwise, as they’re the two centerpieces of their core and the main responsible behind their recent success.
Morant is going to serve a 25-game suspension next season because of his actions, and while the Grizzlies have proven to be capable of winning without him, that puts them in a tough spot for seeding purposes.
So, as good as they can be and as high as their ceiling is, they still need to make sure their best player keeps basketball as his No. 1 priority.
