There’s a big chance we have never seen as much talent in the National Football League as we see nowadays.
The athletes are getting stronger, bigger, more athletic, and more NFL-ready from the very second they make it to the league.
Considering that, cracking the list and becoming a top-10 player in any position is quite a complicated task, even for the best.
That’s why Jacksonville Jaguars star RB Travis Etienne Jr. vowed to use his current ranking as motivation for next season.
Etienne took to Twitter to share his thoughts after NFL insider Dov Kleiman shared the rankings made by scouts, executives, players, and coaches published by ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.

Per the rankings, the top 10 best running backs in the league are — in this order — Austin Ekeler (Los Angeles Chargers), Tony Pollard (Dallas Cowboys), Dalvin Cook (Free agent), Alvin Kamara (New Orleans Saints), Jonathan Taylor (Indianapolis Colts), Derrick Henry (Tennessee Titans), Saquon Barkley (New York Giants), Josh Jacobs (Las Vegas Raiders), Christian McCaffrey (San Francisco 49ers), and Nick Chubb (Cleveland Browns).
Etienne was among the few players that got honorable mentions, joining Aaron Jones (Green Bay Packers), Dameon Pierce (Houston Texans), Breece Hall (New York Jets), Rhamondre Stevenson (New England Patriots), and Kenneth Walker (Seattle Seahawks).
There’s no denying that Etienne has all the tools to be one of the best backs in the league, and the Jacksonville Jaguars should be one of the best teams in the AFC next season.
There’s no better way to prove the doubters wrong than doing it on the field.
