The Philadelphia Eagles got Jahan Dotson back to Pennsylvania.
The Penn State product starred in one of the most surprising trades of the offseason, considering the fact that he was playing for a divisional rival.
Kliff Kingsbury may not have liked the fit, or Dyami Brown’s emergence made him the odd man out.
Whatever the case, the Washington Commanders thought he’d be better off somewhere else.
When asked about the trade, the talented wide receiver admitted that he was looking forward to helping in his new role, admitting he still didn’t know what that role would be because he had just gotten there (Via Eliot Shorr-Parks).
Moreover, he also talked about how excited he was for the roster, as he had never played with that much talent around him.

While that might sound like a shot at the Commanders, it’s also a fair assessment.
The Eagles have one of the most stacked rosters not only in the NFC but also in the entire league.
They have a top-five offensive line and a solid and proven quarterback like Jalen Hurts, and he’ll share the field with the likes of AJ Brown, DeVonta Smith, Dallas Goedert, and Saquon Barkley.
Once again, Howie Roseman managed to bolster his roster by adding a talented player who was being misused somewhere else.
This time, he even got an actual divisional rival to trade with him.
The 2024 Eagles are looking scary, and they desperately want to get back to their winning ways after a disappointing end to last season.
