Washington Commanders wide receiver Jahan Dotson has gotten off to a nice start to his NFL career through two seasons and will look to take his game to new heights in Year 3 with rookie No. 2 overall pick Jayden Daniels taking over as his quarterback.

Dotson knows as well as anyone that his team has been in need of upgrades on both sides of the ball after winning just 12 games over the past two years, and he recently made a quick pitch to a former college teammate and current Dallas Cowboys star to come to the nation’s capital to help them out.

Dotson appeared on “Up & Adams” with Kay Adams and sent a message to former Penn State teammate Micah Parsons.

“Just know he has a home here in D.C. … if he ever needs one,” Dotson said of the pass rusher.

Even the crowd got in on @JahanDotson‘s recruitment pitch to his former @PennStateFball teammate and #Cowboys LB Micah Parsons

Dotson made sure to let people know “I haven’t been in his ear too much,” which was a wise move because you don’t want to catch a tampering fine.

Through two seasons, Dotson has accumulated 84 catches for 1,041 yards and 11 touchdowns and will look to elevate his game to new heights with Daniels throwing him the ball.

After the departure of Curtis Samuel, Logan Thomas and Antonio Gibson in free agency, a ton of targets have been opened up with three of Washington’s top five pass catchers from last season now elsewhere.

The Cowboys have appeared hesitant to extend their superstars this offseason, but it would be shocking if they ever let Parsons leave for a division rival.

So, Dotson’s comments are all in good fun.
