Coming into Game 4 at Madison Square Garden on Sunday, the New York Knicks had a golden opportunity to take a commanding 3-1 series lead over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The Knicks had played better than expected throughout this entire first-round playoff series thus far and just needed to keep their foot on the gas in Game 4 to put all the pressure on the Cavaliers with the series heading back to Cleveland for Game 5.
Fortunately for New York, the Knicks were able to do just that, with New York getting a nine-point win over Cleveland.
Knicks star Jalen Brunson continues to play well in this series as he scored a game-high 29 points in Game 4 while hitting five of his nine attempts from beyond the arc, but even though his three-point celebration made many wonder what he was doing, he wasn’t willing to reveal why he did what he did.
Lisa Salters: “The guys want to know your 3-point celebration. What is it and where did it come from?”

Regardless of Brunson’s meaning for his three-point celebration, the Knicks newcomer has his team firing on all cylinders at the right time, as New York can advance to the second round with a win on Wednesday in Cleveland.
Brunson currently leads the team in points (22.7), assists (4.7) and steals (2.7) per game during this first-round playoff series and is the main reason for the team’s success thus far in the postseason.
With the Knicks a force to be reckoned with in this series and clearly being the better team thus far, the pressure will be on Donovan Mitchell and his squad to save their season on Wednesday.
