The National Football League continues to make money left and right.

NFL teams, owners, players, and everybody involved keep cashing checks, and that’s not going to change any time soon.

Roger Goodell continues to capitalize on his vision to turn the game global, similar to what David Stern did with the NBA.

Considering that, the league made arrangements for the Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles to play in the very first NFL game in Brazil.

When asked about that, Eagles star QB Jalen Hurts called it a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, adding that he’s always heard about how passionate Brazilian fans are about sports.

It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Something to be very excited about – the international stage. And Brazil, from what I’ve heard, is a very amazing place, a beautiful place, and a very, very passionate place as well when it comes to sports and their fans. And so, I’m excited… pic.twitter.com/hdJKepPY31

Of course, Brazilians are known for the ‘other’ football, the one that’s already popular in all corners of the Earth.

It might take a while for American football to catch up with soccer, but this is definitely a step in the right direction.

Also, it’s not much of a coincidence to see that the Packers have the very same colors as the Brazilian flag and national team, so the league knew exactly what they were doing when they sent Matt LaFleur’s team there.

That means the Eagles might not be the fan’s favorite team when they kickoff the season in Sao Paulo.

Whatever the case, we hope that both teams put on a show for the world to see, as this beautiful game needs to get even more exposure and lure more and more fans from all across the globe into this passion.
