The 2022-23 NBA regular season is winding down, with only a handful of games left for the majority of the teams in the league.
As the regular season nears its end, many have started to debate about which team is the team to beat heading into the NBA playoffs.
Although the Eastern Conference is the stronger of the two conferences right now regarding title contenders, the Western Conference might have the team to beat, according to former NBA player and current ESPN analyst Jalen Rose.

The Phoenix Suns made a bold move at the NBA trade deadline to acquire superstar forward Kevin Durant in a blockbuster trade with the Brooklyn Nets.
The move immediately put the rest of the teams in the league on notice, as a lineup with Chris Paul, Devin Booker, Deandre Ayton and Durant was as intimidating as any in the NBA.
However, three games into Durant’s stint with the Suns, the two-time NBA champion went down with an injury after a freak incident in warm-ups.
This injury had many second-guessing the Suns and whether this team could compete for a title without a healthy Durant.
Fortunately for Phoenix, Durant was able to return ahead of the postseason, which gave him time to reclaim his form as one of the best players in the league today.
If Durant can stay healthy and play up to his ability, the Suns will be as dangerous as any team in the league, and they may very well end up being the team to beat when the playoffs get underway.
