The Denver Nuggets have the ultimate bragging rights over the Los Angeles Lakers – and the entire rest of the league – for that matter.

But things seem to be quite personal when it comes to the Lakers, and it all started with coach Michael Malone.

Malone put the NBA media on blast for their lack of attention to his team, ripping them in the playoffs for how the entire coverage was centered on the Lakers, even when the Nuggets were up 2-0 in the Western Conference Finals.

That led to multiple back-and-forths for months, with Malone even taking a shot at LeBron James during their championship parade and festivities.

Unsurprisingly, Nuggets fans also wanted to join the party and do some trolling of their own, which is why they started chanting “Who’s your daddy?” when Anthony Davis was at the line.

Notably, Nuggets star Jamal Murray hilariously blamed his coach for all of this (via Ballislife on Twitter).

Malone had every right to stand up for himself, his players, and his organization, and he was on point with his complaints.

Then again, he may have taken things a little too far when he dissed James during the parade.

The Lakers took offense at everything the Nuggets did and said and talked plenty of trash leading up to this game.

Unfortunately for them, they failed to back the talk on the court, and it seems like Lakers coach Darvin Ham is still struggling to figure out how to beat them.
