Several marquee matchups are taking place in Week 17 of the NFL Season.
With just two weeks to go until the playoffs, these games will determine the playoff field and seeding for those teams.
One of the most important games of the weekend is between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Chiefs need to win this game to clinch the AFC West, while the Bengals are fighting for their lives, hoping to eke out a postseason berth.
Ahead of this vital matchup, Ja’Marr Chase was asked about the Chiefs’ defense and what stood out about this unit.
Chase responded, “If I’m being honest, nothing…It’s not really like they got a Jalen Ramsey on their squad.”

While the Chiefs might not have a player of Ramsey’s caliber on their defense, they are ranked among the best units in the league.
The Chiefs allow 17.7 points per game, only topped by the Baltimore Ravens.
Their defense has remained strong throughout the year, even though they haven’t been known to be one of the league’s best in past seasons.
With Chase’s comments in mind, will the Bengals be able to break through and put up big numbers against the Chiefs?
A lot will depend on Jake Browning, who has been filling in for Joe Burrow since he suffered a season-ending injury.
Browning has shown flashes of brilliance but has also showcased his youth in some games.
If he plays to his full capacity, the Bengals might be able to sneak away with a much-needed victory.
