Are we just weeks away from seeing James Harden play for the Philadelphia 76ers again?

Months ago, that felt like impossible as Harden had made it abundantly clear that he wanted to leave the Sixers.

But now Harden is working out with the team and seemingly prepared for the season.

A new video from Sam DiGiovanni, shared by ClutchPoints, showed Harden and Tyrese Maxey putting in work on a practice court with assistant coach Rico Hines.

In the video, Harden is moving with speed and enthusiasm.

He looks healthy and he also looks focused.

Has he turned a page and put the past behind him?

At this point, it would be a huge surprise to see Harden leave the 76ers before the 2023-24 season kicks off.

While there is still a possibility that the Los Angeles Clippers swoop in and offer a deal that Daryl Morey is happy with, that seems unlikely.

Most inside reporting suggests the two sides are very far apart in negotiations.

So, Harden will most likely be in the lineup for Philadelphia in a couple of weeks.

What will happen after that?

Is Harden going to duck the press all season long?

If not, he might create even more controversy unless he chooses to bite his tongue.

All analysts and writers will be wondering about Harden and his commitment to the team.

Can the 76ers really battle against the Milwaukee Bucks, Boston Celtics, and the rest of the Eastern Conference with that hanging over their heads?

Harden looks ready to play for the team he vowed to leave, but uncertainly still remains.
