The drama surrounding James Harden and the Philadelphia 76ers continues.
For weeks now, we have known that Harden has wanted out of Philadelphia and the Los Angeles Clippers are apparently the prime destination for him.
But no moves have been made and Harden remains with the Sixers, at least for now.
But according to Zach Lowe, via NBACentral, Harden isn’t changing his tune and is determined to leave his current team.
“If you talk to people around him, he’s not backing down. He wants out of Philadelphia,” Lowe said.

This isn’t too shocking when you consider that Harden has done this all before.
The 76ers aren’t the first team he has demanded a trade from.
In fact, Harden has bounced around the league multiple times and the end of his time with a franchise often looks like this.
There was some hope last week that cooler heads would prevail and Harden could change his mind and decide to remain alongside Joel Embiid and the rest of the Sixers squad.
Harden, Embiid, and Tobias Harris were even seen at a party together, seemingly getting along.
But apparently, he isn’t moving on from his desire to leave Philadelphia.
The Sixers are in control of Harden’s fate because they have to agree to a deal in order for him to leave.
What happens if they choose not to ship him off?
Will Harden begrudgingly play for the 76ers in the fall or will he remain on the bench, refusing to suit up?
Harden is staying steadfast but so is Philadelphia’s front office.
So, who will get what they want?
