It’s been a while since James Harden was happy in the NBA.

He forced his way out of Houston.

Then, he blindsided Kevin Durant and quickly forced his way out of Brooklyn when the team needed him the most.

And now, he blames Daryl Morey for not being able to get the max contract he wants.

Harden recently stated that he would never play for an organization that has Morey a part of again, but his issues with the Sixers might go beyond that.

In a recent interview with Jason Bristol of KHOU, he stated that it’s too late to fix his relationship with the organization now, adding that he’s been quite patient throughout the process.

EXCLUSIVE: James Harden tells me he thinks his relationship w/ 76ers is beyond repair.
“I’ve been patient all summer.”
Back from China, he’s in #Houston for his ‘JH-Town Weekend,’ including kids carnival & celebrity softball game for charity.

Many people speculate that Morey promised Harden a contract extension if he agreed to take a pay cut last season.

Moreover, Harden underperformed in the playoffs — again, and even left the team to party in Las Vegas right in the midst of the postseason.

Truth be told, Harden is in this position because he put himself in it.

Ironically, Morey was the one who believed in him over and over and got him most of his checks as a player, and it’s easy to see why many teams haven’t stepped up in trying to trade for him.
