The Philadelphia 76ers have a complicated situation to solve with James Harden.

The former MVP reportedly wants to leave the team as soon as possible and take his talents to the Los Angeles Clippers, yet Daryl Morey doesn’t seem to have any intention whatsoever of moving on from him.

Some are getting ready for a long stand-off between both parties, as Harden is reportedly livid at the organization.

In the meantime, the former Houston Rockets star is taking some time off.

With that in mind, USA Today asked him to put together his all-time starting five, and it was quite the good one (via NBA Central).

At point guard, James put nonother than LeBron James, one of the best playmakers of all time, albeit not a true point guard per sé.

Then, he chose the legendary Kobe Bryant at shooting guard, which is kind of ironic, considering Bryant once said that Harden’s style of play would never get him far in the playoffs.

Harden picked Michael Jordan — arguably the greatest player of all time — as his starting small forward, and any team would need a two-way superstar like him.

Then, he rounded up the frontcourt with two of the most physical, talented, and dominant players of all time, pairing Tim Duncan with Shaquille O’Neal.

This team features five elite defenders — even LeBron when he was in his prime — and scorers, and it would be quite difficult to put together a most dominant and well-rounded team at this point in time.
