The Kansas City Chiefs may have beaten the Chicago Bears at home in Week 3, but that was far from the day’s biggest storyline.
The talk of the weekend wasn’t about football, but rather Travis Kelce and his seemingly budding romance with pop star Taylor Swift.
For weeks, rumors swirled that Kelce had been trying to meet with Swift and his efforts apparently paid off as she came to Arrowhead Stadium to watch him play against the Bears.
Social media went crazy when cameras showed Swift in a suite next to Kelce’s mom and the country singer was later shown cheering on the tight end when he got into the end zone.
After the game, Kelce and Swift were seen leaving the stadium together which all but confirmed that they are seeing each other.
Kelce’s older brother and current Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce couldn’t help but poke fun at him via their podcast New Heights Show.
“Trav, how’s it feel that Taylor Swift finally put you on the map?” Jason joked.

Jason’s got a great sense of humor considering that Travis is a two-time Super Bowl champion who will go down as one of the greatest tight ends in NFL history.
However, it doesn’t take away from the fact that Travis did see a spike in social media followers and jersey sales, presumably from Swift fans who are supportive of the new man in her life.
High-profile dating stories aside, though, Travis remains focused on the goal of helping the Chiefs defend their Super Bowl championship during the year.
