The Phoenix Suns have put together the second Big Three of the Mat Ishbia era, and he hasn’t even been in charge for a full year.
Adding Bradley Beal to that mix of Devin Booker, Kevin Durant, and Deandre Ayton only makes them a bigger contender, even though they still need to add more depth to that roster.
That’s why Jay Williams has no doubt in his mind that the Suns should be in line to win an NBA championship next season, citing that this is the ultimate opportunity for Durant.

Williams and Kendrick Perkins debated whether Durant still feels like he has something left to prove, and Perkins cites that he thinks he does.
Otherwise, he wouldn’t be out there on social media constantly hitting back at the haters and naysayers.
Furthermore, Perkins cites that Durant is extremely hard on himself, and he knows he’s keeping receipts of everything he’s hearing and reading, adding that he looks like he’s bulked up and has been in the gym a lot lately.
No one can deny Durant’s greatness as a basketball player, and he’s an undisputed first-ballot Hall-of-Famer.
He’s one of the greatest scorers that’s ever lived, and he shouldn’t have anything else to prove at this point.
Then again, some people will always put an asterisk next to everything he does, but if that’s the motivation he needs to come back stronger, then so be it.
