The NFL Draft is one day away, and every single piece of information matters at this point.
Even if some teams feel like they have their big board in place, a report could change everything in the blink of an eye.
That’s why the Washington Commanders might not be thrilled to know that Jayden Daniels doesn’t have them on his preferred destinations list.
According to a report by Diana Russini of The Athletic, the LSU star has a ‘dream scenario’ of playing for either the Las Vegas Raiders or Minnesota Vikings (via The Purple Persuasion).
Per @DMRussini, QB Jayden Daniels’ “dream scenario” is to play for the #Raiders or the #Vikings

Apparently, Daniels has high regard for Raiders coach Antonio Pierce, who was an assistant coach at Arizona State when he was there.
He would also like to play for Kevin O’Connell in Minnesota.
There have been multiple reports about Daniels not wanting to play in the nation’s capital.
They also claimed that Daniels’ camp had already reached out to the Commanders to dismiss those rumors and let them know that he would gladly play for them if given the opportunity, but these reports continue to make plenty of noise.
Daniels is firmly expected to be the No. 2 pick, but perhaps the Commanders could change their minds and go with Drake Maye instead.
Should that be the case, the New England Patriots have claimed that they’re open for business at No. 3, with the Vikings reportedly being the most aggressive team trying to trade up.
For now, we’ll just have to wait and see how this story unfolds.
