Marcus Smart has moved on from the Boston Celtics to the Memphis Grizzlies but he still remains very close with a few of the players on his old team.
One of them posted a heartfelt message about Smart and it was met with a very humorous response from a Grizzlies star.
When Smart was first acquired by the Grizzlies, Jaylen Brown posted, “My brother 4L,” according to ClutchPoints.
Jaren Jackson Jr. of the Grizzlies replied, “My brotha now.”
Brown shot back with a picture of a baseball cap, saying, “he don’t even Fw y’all.”

This is just some friendly bickering between a few of the biggest stars in the league.
But it shouldn’t overshadow the fact that Smart moving to the Grizzlies could be a huge deal for both of their teams.
Smart is one of the fiercest players in the NBA, a strong shooter, team leader, and a great defender too.
In fact, he is one of the few guards to earn Defensive Player of the Year.
Some people believe that his skills and knowledge will work wonders for the Grizzlies, who are young and a bit inexperienced in the postseason still.
Smart might have an especially strong impact on Ja Morant, the team’s guard who has consistently gotten himself into trouble by making bad off-court choices.
As for the Celtics, some fans are worried that their team made the wrong choice by allowing Smart to get away.
The Celtics have been building something special over the last few years – will the loss of Smart compromise much of that?
Right now, Brown and Jackson are joking around and making light of the situation.
But the exchange of Smart could have real, profound effects on both of their teams.
