The Boston Celtics easily took down the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday night and Jaylen Brown was once again a huge part of the team’s victory.
Brown scored 26 points in the 127-107 victory and earned his 10,000th career point too.
Speaking to Celtics on CLNS and the press after the game, Brown spoke about that moment and what the fans mean to him.
Brown said:
“For the day one JB fans who’ve stayed in my corner since day one, I feel that love and I like to just show that love right back. There’s a lot of people here who in Boston who have supported my career and my journey and I’m grateful for that and that encourages me to just keep getting better.”

Brown has been a crucial part of the Celtics this year, scoring an average of 23.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 3.6 assists.
When the season began, fans were expecting big things from Brown.
Just last summer, he signed an eye-popping extension with the Celtics and the loyal followers of the team wanted to be sure he was worth it.
So far, he has been earning his hefty paycheck.
Of course, Brown and the rest of the Celtics still have a lot to prove.
They are the best team in the NBA with the most impressive record just days before the playoffs begin.
Anything short of serious postseason greatness will be seen as a disappointment, especially after the year they have had.
Last year, Brown averaged 22.7 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 3.4 assists in the playoffs but what will he be able to accomplish this year?
Scoring 10,000 points is a major feat for any NBA star but Brown isn’t about to start slowing down.
