The Boston Celtics are on a roll in the 2023-24 NBA season, as they are currently the first seed in the Eastern Conference with a 16-5 record.

Despite getting eliminated from the NBA In-Season Tournament, the Celtics played at an elite level in their recent matchup against the New York Knicks.

While the Celtics registered a comfortable 133-123 win over the Knicks, one key member of the winners had a forgettable experience.

Yes, we are talking about none other than Jaylen Brown, who was ejected during the fourth quarter of the game.

Considering it was Brown’s first career ejection, he had an animated reaction to it during the postgame conference via Celtics on CLNS on Twitter.

“I always thought my first career ejection would be something a little more exciting … not some overemotional ref who had a bad day,” Jaylen Brown said on his ejection against the Knicks.

During a play in the fourth quarter, Brown committed a foul, which led to a conversation with the referee.

Nowadays, even a single conversation with the referee can result in players getting thrown out of the game, and that’s what happened with Brown, who was ejected from the game.

In the postgame conference, Browns didn’t seem unhappy that he was ejected from the matchup.

Instead, he pointed out that if he had to get ejected, it should have been for a much-severe altercation.

Before being thrown out of the game, Brown ended up with 17 points and 4 assists.

Despite being 6’6″, Brown failed to pull down even a single rebound in his 27 minutes of playing time on the court.
