Jaylen Brown of the Boston Celtics has been incredibly busy this summer.
He may have missed out on the Olympics but has appeared at awards shows and charity events and has also spent a lot of time in the recording studio.
On Thursday morning, Brown’s efforts in the studio were revealed when a song featuring him and A$AP Ferg titled “JUST DO IT” was released.
The song, shared by geers and NBACentral on X, features Brown rapping about multiple things, not just basketball.
One lyric features Brown rapping, “I’m the only one they wanna f— with now. But they be hating on the low. But I done took the game and flipped it upside down. Ballin ain’t the only thing I know.”

Of course, Brown isn’t the first NBA star to try his hand at rapping.
The reviews are usually mixed for players-turned-rappers but the response to this song has been mostly positive.
Since this is Brown, people are trying to read into every lyric and figure out what he’s talking about.
He has made a name for himself as a somewhat cryptic person, often making vague statements that drum up interest and controversy.
This happened recently when Brown spoke out after being snubbed for Team USA following Kawhi Leonard’s departure from the team.
He blame Nike for that and the new song is titled “JUST DO IT.”
As you can imagine, many people believe that’s a veiled reference to the shoe company.
But, as always, Brown isn’t revealing much.
Will Brown find a lot of success as a rapper?
After the season he just had, no one should count him out.
