The era of LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and Kevin Durant is almost over since each superstar is in the twilight years of their respective careers.
However, it means that the NBA is in search of the next set of superstars that can compete to be the face of the league.
Among them is Boston Celtics superstar Jayson Tatum.
Tatum has all the elements to be the face of the league, as he is a humble person with excellent basketball skills.
But one thing that Tatum’s resume is missing is the NBA Championship.
Keeping that in mind, Tatum honestly answered how the NBA world views him, via Jared Weiss on Twitter.
“It’s a little unfair, because everybody don’t get the same treatment. I feel like even some guys older than me or the same age as me get looked at differently than I do,” Tatum said.
Jayson Tatum wants to become the face of the NBA, but there’s only one way:
Win the title.

It’s good to see that Tatum is not running away from the possibility of becoming the next face of the NBA.
But the Celtics superstar is well aware that he doesn’t get the same treatment as his peers.
If anything, Tatum believes he gets looked at differently because he is in the race to be the face of the NBA.
Keeping that in mind, Tatum knows that the only way to earn the respect of the NBA community is to win the championship.
Considering the Celtics are currently the number one seed in the Eastern Conference, Tatum has a great chance of fulfilling his dream.
The closest that Tatum came to winning the NBA title was in 2022 when the Celtics were defeated by the Golden State Warriors in the Finals.
Can Tatum finally end his championship drought this season?
