The Boston Celtics are once again back in the playoffs, looking very strong.
After a tumultuous time with Ime Udoka in the offseason, they played great basketball.
This team is one of the favorites to make it to the Finals this season, and they’re ready for the challenge.
Jayson Tatum reflected on a new playoff run for the Celtics, saying that they’ve been waiting for this moment.
“This is the moment we’ve been working for”

“Experience is the best teacher, Tatum said. “This group, (what) we’ve been through over his last two years, we’ve been through a lot. We’ve accomplished a lot and we’ve failed and we’ve failed together. And essentially, we worked all offseason, and preseason, and had a great regular season. I know we got one more game (left), but to get to this point, to get back to the playoffs, to get another opportunity and another shot. This is the moment that we have been waiting for, been working for.”
The Celtics peaked a little too early, but they learned how to ride the wave and remain competitive.
They’re now one of the top teams in the East and with Tatum leading the way, they have a chance at the title.
Following a heartbreaking loss to the Golden State Warriors last season, they’re looking for revenge.
Tatum keeps improving his level, even becoming part of the MVP conversation at times.
The Celtics have a great duo with Tatum and Jaylen Brown, supported by their role players and head coach.
If the Milwaukee Bucks have a team to worry about, it’s the Celtics.
They defeated the Toronto Raptors on Friday night, making a statement ahead of the regular season finale and playoffs.
This team wants to take that final step and win the NBA championship for the first time in 15 years.
Tatum is ready for that challenge and won’t rest until he gets his hands on the Larry O’Brien trophy.
In 74 games played, the former No. 3 overall pick is averaging 30.1 points, 8.8 rebounds and 4.6 assists.
The Celtics sit at 2nd in the Eastern Conference standings, only trailing the Bucks.
This team is hungry after last season’s outcome and the East must be careful with the Celtics.
