It’s hard to believe that many players who are perceived as young players in the NBA no longer fit into that category.

Perhaps the best example of it is the Boston Celtics superstar Jayson Tatum.

Tatum is still viewed as a young player, but he’s gearing up for his seventh season in the NBA.

Over the last six years, Tatum has never missed the playoffs and even led the Celtics to the NBA Finals in 2022.

Ahead of the upcoming season, Tatum addressed the beginning of his Year 7 with a simple tweet via his official Twitter handle.

Tatum posted a black and white picture of himself in the Celtics’ new jersey.

Tatum looks extremely focused in the picture, and with a full beard, he’s giving some serious vibes.

It feels like Tatum wants to finally remove the tag of a ringless player from his name.

As we mentioned earlier, Tatum has been to the playoffs six times, but he’s yet to win the glorious Larry O’Brien trophy.

Considering Tatum’s inability to get over the Finals hurdle to become an NBA champion, many are already labeling him as a choker.

Last year, Tatum had the statistically best season of his career and was constantly viewed as an MVP candidate.

He averaged 30.1 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 8.8 assists per game for the Celtics.

While Tatum’s numbers were great, his Celtics lost in seven games against the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals.

With the Celtics making some remarkable progress over the offseason, all things point to the Celtics finally winning the NBA championship for the first time since 2008.
