The Utah Jazz are heading into a rebuild, meaning that young players are going to have plenty of opportunities to showcase their skills next season.
That’s why those who play fantasy basketball, video games, or simply have an eye for young talent, should keep Cody Williams near the top of their list.
The Colorado product was remarkable in his most recent performance, scoring 21 points to go along with three rebounds, four assists, and three three-pointers on 9-of-15 shooting (3-of-6 from beyond the arc), helping the Jazz beat the Dallas Mavericks (via Courtside Buzz).
Utah Jazz No. 10 Cody Williams looked sharp in their 90-89 Summer League WIN over Dallas:

Williams is Oklahoma City Thunder’s Jalen Williams’ younger brother, and the resemblance — both physically and in their games — is uncanny.
The Jazz are reportedly looking to move most of their veterans.
Collin Sexton, Lauri Markkanen, John Collins, Jordan Clarkson, and — surprisingly — even Walker Kessler could reportedly be all up for grabs, and that should leave plenty of touches available for Williams to make a name for himself on Will Hardy’s team.
Danny Ainge has always had a great eye when it comes to roster-building and the NBA Draft, and while some think Cody’s upside isn’t as high as Jalen’s, he could still prove to be a very efficient three-level scorer if given enough playing time.
The Jazz have flirted with postseason contention for a couple of years now, but they’ve fallen flat late in the season both times.
Now, with a full-scale rebuild ahead of them, things may not be pretty in the foreseeable future, but it could lead to success later on.
