There was a time when LeBron James was the most feared man in the NBA, or at least in the Eastern Conference.
The level of competition in the East was significantly lower than in the Western Conference, which is why his critics often called him out for taking the easier route to the NBA Finals, if that’s even a thing.
The fact of the matter is that James often had to go against some solid teams, but they weren’t nearly as talented as the teams he would’ve had to face on the other side of the bracket.
We even saw teams go below .500 and still make the playoffs in the East, whereas some 50-win teams barely made it in the West.
That, plus the great sets of teammates he had, often helped him dominate several franchises.
That’s why it’s not much of a surprise to see Jeff Teague admit that he never won a playoff game against him.
Talking on his podcast, the former Atlanta Hawks guard said that he even lost a game in which they were up by 30 at halftime (via ClutchPoints).
“I’ve never won a playoff game against him… One time we was up 30. I swear to God… I’m like, I finally beat this dude. He walking at halftime said, ‘We good, we good, everybody, keep their head up’… I said it’s over.”

Just when he thought he’d finally beat him, James’ team stormed right back to get the win.
Teague isn’t lying.
He retired with a 0-12 playoff record vs. LeBron James in his career: 0-8 with the Hawks and 0-4 with the Indiana Pacers.
The Hawks and Toronto Raptors were some of prime James’ favorite victims, and even though the years have gone by, Teague hasn’t forgotten about that just yet.
